I'm back in LA now. I went up to San Francisco for the opening of my latest show, a solo exhibition of my moleskine pages at Spoke Art's brand new space. It was daunting having my work as the debut opening of the gallery space- plus it was also my first show in the city and so I definitely felt the pressure.
We managed to frame the works beautifully as some were reversible pieces, and so in many cases people were getting two pieces.
The show exceeded all expectations, with a week left there are only 2/18 left.
My solo show in Phone Booth Gallery also went well, with 16/25 selling. Sold half the works I had in the Gallery Nucleus show in LA too.
I'm definitely surprised and pleased by the warm reception, however for me the reward was getting to spend a month in San Francisco- and just staying with friends or people I had met there- on their couches or beds
Will be posting new art soon- I just need to do it now
It's hard to explain the SF show- I made an installation of hanging pages too. You should probably just check out the review- plenty of photos from the night too-

Cheers to anyone that bothered to read my ramblings
